SHIPPING POLICY
At Pumpum Desserts, the delivery of our desserts is a cornerstone of our service. This policy aims to ensure that your order arrives in perfect condition, in a punctual and transparent manner. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following shipping terms.
1. Coverage Area and Restrictions
1.1. Delivery Zones: We ship exclusively within the conurbated area of Tampico, Ciudad Madero, and specific areas of Altamira, Tamaulipas. Our coverage is strictly defined by Postal Codes. To verify if we deliver to your address, simply enter your Postal Code during the checkout process on our website. If the system does not recognize your Postal Code, it means we currently do not have coverage for that location.1.2. Hard-to-Access Zones: We reserve the right to restrict or cancel delivery to addresses considered difficult to access, unpaved roads in poor condition, or high-risk zones for our delivery staff. In such a case, we will contact you via hello@pumpumdesserts.com to arrange a safe, alternative delivery point.2. Scheduling and Delivery Times
2.1. Order Scheduling: All our products are handcrafted to order. Therefore, deliveries must be scheduled a minimum of 48 hours in advance. Our system will allow you to select a date and time slot available in our schedule.2.2. Delivery Time Slot: You will select a one-hour time window for delivery (e.g., "Wednesday, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM"). This slot represents our priority delivery goal.2.3. Flexibility and Tolerance: We understand the importance of punctuality. However, delivery logistics may be affected by external variables (traffic, weather, delays in previous routes). Although the selected slot is our priority, it functions as an estimated time frame. Should we anticipate a significant delay, our team will notify you as soon as possible.3. Shipping Costs
3.1. Cost Structure: The shipping cost is calculated automatically based on your registered Postal Code in our database:Near Zone: FREE Shipping (Areas immediate to our kitchen in Miramar/South Altamira).Standard Zone: Fixed fee of $40.00 MXN (Most of North Tampico, Airport, Tancol).Extended Zone: Fee of $60.00 MXN (Downtown Tampico, Ciudad Madero, Miramar Beach, Industrial Port, and remote areas).The final cost will be clearly itemized at checkout before you complete your payment.
3.2. Promotions: Occasionally, we may offer free shipping promotions via coupons, which will be subject to their own terms and conditions.4. Customer Responsibilities
4.1. Accurate Information: The delivery address must be precise and include street, number, neighborhood (colonia), and references. We are not responsible for failed deliveries resulting from incorrect data provided by the Customer.4.2. Accessibility: If the delivery is in a gated community, building, or office, the Customer is responsible for managing the driver's access at the security booth or reception.4.3. Reception: A person must be available to receive the order within the agreed time slot.5. Delivery Protocol
5.1. Notification: You will receive an email from orders@pumpumdesserts.com when your order is confirmed and in process. Our driver may contact you via phone or WhatsApp upon arriving at the address.5.2. Waiting Policy: The driver will wait a maximum of 10 minutes at the address.5.3. Failed Delivery: If after 10 minutes it is not possible to deliver the order:The order will be classified as "Failed Delivery."
Due to the perishable nature of the products, no refunds will be issued.
The product will return to our base. The Customer may pick it up personally or request a second delivery attempt (subject to availability) by covering the corresponding shipping fee again ($40 or $60 MXN).
6. Special Conditions and Force Majeure
6.1. Product Care: Once delivered, the responsibility for refrigeration and handling transfers to the Customer.6.2. Force Majeure: In the event of torrential rains, floods, or road blockades that prevent safe delivery, we will contact you to reschedule at no additional cost.Shipping Contact
