At Pumpum Desserts, the delivery of our desserts is a cornerstone of our service. This policy aims to ensure that your order arrives in perfect condition, in a punctual and transparent manner. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following shipping terms.
We ship within the conurbated area of Tampico, Ciudad Madero, and specific areas of Altamira, Tamaulipas. To confirm coverage in Altamira, we recommend verifying your postal code during the checkout process on our website.
We reserve the right to restrict or cancel delivery to addresses considered difficult to access or high-risk for our delivery staff. In such a case, we will contact you to arrange a safe, alternative delivery point.
All our products are made to order. Therefore, deliveries must be scheduled a minimum of 48 hours in advance. Our online purchasing system, as well as our WhatsApp support channel, will allow you to select a date and time slot for your delivery, subject to availability in our schedule.
Our system allows you to select a one-hour time slot for delivery (e.g., "Wednesday, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM"). This time slot represents our priority delivery goal.
We understand the importance of punctuality. However, the logistics of delivering artisanal products can be affected by variables beyond our direct control. Therefore, although the time slot you select is our top priority, it functions as an estimated time frame and not an absolute guarantee. We will do everything humanly possible to meet it, but delays may occur due to:

The delivery address must be precise and include the street, number (exterior and interior, if applicable), neighborhood (colonia), postal code, and, if possible, detailed references (e.g., "two-story blue house, black gate"). Pumpum Desserts is not responsible for failed deliveries or delays resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address.
If the delivery address is in a gated community, apartment complex, company, or hospital, it is the Customer's responsibility to manage the necessary access permits and notify the security booth or reception of our driver's arrival. Any delay or access impediment is the Customer's responsibility.
A person must be available to receive the order at the address and around the agreed-upon time slot. The Customer may designate a third party (family member, friend, receptionist) to receive it, who will assume responsibility upon delivery.
Our driver may contact you via phone or WhatsApp when your order is en route to confirm reception. It is essential that the provided phone number is correct and available.
Once at the address, our driver will wait a maximum of 10 minutes for the order to be received.
If after the waiting time has elapsed it is not possible to contact the Customer and no one is available to receive the order, the following protocol will be activated:
Our products are delicate and are transported with the utmost care. Once delivered, the responsibility for the product's preservation is transferred to the Customer, as detailed in our Terms and Conditions.
In the event that delivery is made impossible or is delayed by causes beyond our control (torrential rains, road blockades, demonstrations, etc.), we will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule the delivery at no additional cost.
